Tucked behind a very small black community off of St. Claire Ave in East St Louis I noticed acres of solar panels being installed. I saw that most of the shade providing trees in this 4-5 block neighborhood were being removed. I wondered if they were older and damaged trees that could fly off in a storm and destroy the panels.
I worried that the residents of the small neighborhood would be displaced. The area is maybe five blocks. No town name is posted although many years ago a large, hand painted, board read, The Original Sin City.
The solar panels aren't visible from St Clair Ave. I found them one day while not minding my business, speculating about the fallen trees, and investigating the site. This is what I found on N 71st.

East St. Louis
Colin The Ass told me he had a job delivering to ESTL.
We had been driving to BLLVLL via 15.
I got out as soon as I dropped off the delivery, he told me. I wondered why.
Because I didn't want to get shot! All belligerent. Said the man who was every IST I could imagine.

Three Yellow - I see Three - Billboards and Signs
I like the way my brain works when I'm not thinking.
My brain tends to group in 3 when I make photos. I only see it later when downloading the photos.
3 yellows.
3 streetlights.
3 planes.
This is working intuitively. My decisions are all made by inner sense and recognizing patterns or insights that may not be immediately obvious.

The Royal Jubilee Singers of East St. Louis, IL
Spotted in an IL thrit store. I wish I had bought it but I was distracted by my mission of buying up candles on May 17 for NSTL tornado victims.
