Bakelite

Bakelite is an old love of mine. I've collected bakelite knobs off of tossed TVs in alleys for 5 decades and turned them into drawer pulls. I love the stuff but my attachment has waned.
I mean, there's only so much room in our house.
Just some spacers.

If you're an Artist

You must study Ikebana which means living sculpture.
You must understand Three and know that Three is the Lucky Prime in math theory.
You must practice Ikebana weekly. If you don't have flowers use fresh cut twigs.
Understand the significance of the container. Understand resonance.
Buy antique Ikebana books (I've a huge collection) and see how the living containers became the arrangement. Modernist Ikebana is mind blowing.

At Work - The Third Decade

Ah, the mid 80s.
That day Bob C called me a dyke and asked where my bike was, haha. My Yamaha XJ 550 was too big for me with my 29" inseam legs. I looked best on the back of Armin's Harley :)
