How I like to start the day by Bellie Herman

Roll over in the bed to remove the blanket whilst deftly doing a tumble and landing on my feet. It's Ballet!
Execute a stretch.
Walk around the bed and look at my sleeping Mah'mm.
Remain in position until she opens her eyes. After 15 seconds place my wet nose on her face and she'll get up and open the yard door.
Sniff everything. Back inside, eat breakfast by doing a slow slide to the bowl.
Pick up a stuffed baby and parade with it room to room for 15 mins. Hide the baby.
Place head on moms lap while she is typing.
Lay down, roll over, and do the shimmey on my back.
Time for a nap!
Place wrist over nose for warmth. When Mah'mm sees me doing this she says, She who smelt it dealt it.

Bellie to the Rescue

Vet appointment on Saturday for a look at a possible new tumor when Bellie heard a puppy crying.
While working in the yard a few years I cried in pain when I dropped a rock on my foot. Bellie came running to help me.
It was fascinating to see her reaction and her kindness. The universe has blessed me with great fortune and beautiful dogs.

The Puzzle Palace

Me: You're supposed to roll the toy about to release its treats not snuggle with it.
Bellie: But you gave it to me! It is a gift of love!
Me: It's not a pillow.
Bellie: I LOVE IT!

On being Gorgeous

Me: Do you know why you are so beautiful?
Bellie: No.
Me: Because you don't know how beautiful you are.
Bellie: ......Do we have any chews?

Pretty Baby

Of all my dogs Bellie is most special and loved due to her circumstances and her kindness.
Hmmm. Spotted a 7th decade selfie in here. I was blowing a kiss to my sister circe 2019.

Last Summer

Due to Covid last year Bellie didn't visit a groomer for her spring shave. Wearing a fur coat in the heat was overwhelming. She panted in distress until I shaved her belly and put ice packs in her bed.
She snuggled and rolled on the ice packs in delight.
