Justice for George Floyd

There won't be any justice for the murder of George Floyd.
I recently removed this from my building due to incidents.

Historic Belleville

Me: I want to move here
Pist: No basements, only cellars.
Me: Blue state!
Pist: Really no reason to move, our homes were paid off years ago.
Me: How is that logical?

Downtown Belleville

Last year I'd already heavily stocked the pantries and freezers. I'd been advised in Jan of 200 by a friend living in France and working in China that the virus 'is going to be global' and that I should have 3 months of food on hand. That I should check all over the counter meds on hand and replace anything that had expired. I believed him: I know what he does for a living.
In april I watched physicans on TV in NYC wearing double and triple masks. I followed and started wearing two masks back then, a surgical mask covered with a N95. We also wear a face shield and vinyl gloves.
I don't play.
Last April a friend had said, I thought you were nuts and hoarding food when you told me you were stocking up! Now, the store shelves are bare.
Last year at this time we'd already isolated, Pist in BA as I stocked the cabin and city home.
I spent some time in Belleville doing photos along the drives.

The AirBnB

For 2 years we were a hotel, an AirBnB with a cast of characters. We met some wonderful people and some profound addicts.
These photos (I'm cleaning up files) are from our second floor with its original 1913 built ins.
The front balcony was an flower and herb garden (It's now one of our veggie garden during warm months). We included photos of the neighborhood and surrounding area in our listing.
Along the way, I added a boutique with all proceeds benefitting the ACLU.
The space was a great gallery.
There's the backyard tea house that I designed.
A rando gate photo.
The back porch had its own flower garden and was a favorite room of warm weather visitors.
I made all of the birdbaths and votive holders in the photos. Many of the prints and paintings are mine.
