My former CWE residence is for sale.
This Federal style, 16 room mansion is where I adventured for over a decade.
I published Velocity there, had a huge studio on the first floor, a garden in the yard, and the entire third floor.
Int he fall and winter hundreds of crows roosted in the back yard tree tops.
Armin was usually with me.
I travelled extensively and spent smonths at a time in SF.
I maintained the house for the owner so I didn't pay rent.
I moved 26 years ago and am saddeded to see its current condition. Especially the third floor roof damage and the brick blow out on the east wall.
And, that kitchen.
What I loved best was the pair of massive hinges on the vestibule doors.
These aren't my photos but the realtor's.

Comments! My Apologies.
I've just discovered a series of comments awaiting moderation over the years.
My apologies. While I know people read/look at this blog since I can see the stats (and origins) I didn't realize they were comments waiting to post.
I've just 'published' many of them.
Many thanks to the people who appreciate my photos :)
It was hilarious to learn there's a dude in TGS who is reenacting my photos in his photos! Somtimes it is good to inspire the insipid. Perhaps he will learn to ideate on his ownsome.
Sadly for me, I knew him briefly. I remember him telling me about who he wanted to become, a writer, maybe a photograpgher. Hearing aspirations from an adult was disturbing.

Bellie. 2014
A week after I brought her home in 2014 from Dirks Fund. She weighed 38 pounds.
She was mostly bald. Her ears were infected. She had a tape worm. She needed her anal glands removed. She ate her poop. She chewed on herself. She had been severly beaten. Her nose was cut. She's never been inside a house. She ate dirt.
She had only recently been seperated from her last litter. Her puppies were taken from her.
She had the saddest eyes I've ever seen on a dog.
She's currently in remission.
She's the bravest animal I've ever known.

Hamburglar
I saw one of my creepy stalkers - not Mike Rancid but one of the nutty women - walking up my street yesterday ridiculously dressed as the Hamburglar.

CALIF Pottery
From the Calif Pottery movement, this amazing palm tree tray was huge at 18".
The piece held a bolted piece of bamboo for a handle.

The Big October Sun
Now a bando, this building was American Can Co in the 50s-60s.
My grandfather, Wilhiem Busch, worked there as an label illustrator when the STL Symphony wasn't in season. He was the first chair violin - the concertmaster.
During the 70s it housed Consolidated Chemical.
